What I have learned


In this quarter, I learned about the timelines when the internet was born, the different types of network and also about the internet services tools where you can find the important services on the internet. 


I learned about the internet access where there is a Local Area Network and wireless broadband access which is a type of internet worldwide. I also read and familiarized the founders and co-founders of the Internet that we are using right now. 


I learned about making a blog and I’m enjoying making articles and sharing my thoughts about our country. 


There is a problem that I encountered while I’m reading and doing my module like I find it hard to memorize and familiarize the dates and the names of the founders. I address these problems by taking down notes and highlighting the important ideas. 


Moving on, I will teach and share my knowledge about this to my cousins and friends because I know that they will enjoy this topic as much as I do.

  The Viva Vigan Festival of Arts is celebrated during the first week of the month of May. It was started in 1993 by the Save Vigan Ancestral Homes Association, Inc. (SVAHAI) to promote awareness of the value of the historic town, which was hoped to strengthen resolve to preserve and protect this heritage site.  ”Binatbatan” is the process of beating cotton pods to remove the seeds for Abel weaving. For the past sixteen years, the festival of arts has been successful in drumming up attention for Vigan’s ancestral houses. With the help of national and local agencies, as well as media, arts and non-governmental supporters, the festival has also succeeded in promoting other aspects of Vigan. Its popularity has even benefited the whole tourism industry of the northern region, bringing in tens of thousands of local and foreign tourists curious to explore and have a “northern experience.”

Araw ng Bataan

       The Day of Valor, officially known as Araw ng Kagitingan, is a national observance in the Philippines which commemorates the fall of Bataan to Japanese troops during World War II. It falls every April 9, although in 2009, its celebration was moved to April 6 to avoid it from coinciding with Maundy Thursday. Araw ng Kagitingan is a regular holiday in the Philippines and occurs on or around April 9. Many streets are closed and public transport routes may be redirected to give way for parades. Malls and other leisure areas remain open and most people may go to these places and use this day as a family day.
