New things I’ve learned

Image
In this quarter, I learned about how can we properly use html and how can html help us to make our work more easier. I have learned a lot about html on how it works and how to use the tools and code.     I had encountered a lot of challenges of using html because I’m not familiar with the codes and on how to properly use it. I’m having a hard time the first time I used the app but with the help of the concept notes that the teacher provides for us and the internet, I had already understand on how to properly use the html.     By understanding html, I will soon be able to get a grasp on other technologies much more quickly and easily.

New year, New beginning

Image
As the new year begins, we feel that we need to make changes in our life like do new things and say goodbye to our old habits, problems and difficulties.    Every New Year, we start making new plans, try something new, and new resolutions. Changing our looks, habits, and style that will suit us and for our better selves.     New Year marks a date of happiness. It is our opportunity to learn from the prior year and make positive changes on the first day of the year.

‘Tis the season to be jolly

Image
During this pandemic, it’s hard for us to meet and greet our friends and relatives on Christmas. Social media is a big help for us so we can greet our friend and relatives because we are being discouraged from visiting one another.     This would probably be one in contemporary history when we are encouraged to celebrate the Christmas season in its simplicity. The usual Christmas glee that we have been accustomed to is not possible this year. But our celebration of Christmas should not be dampened by Covid-19, let us spread more hope, peace, joy and love this season.

A healthy and happy child resembles a healthy and happy nation

All children, of all ages, and in all countries, are being affected, in particular by the socio-economic impacts. Other kids needs to work for them to buy their basic needs because  their families lose their sources of income due to COVID-19 and the global economy has been plunged into a recession, more households are falling into monetary poverty.    In order to provide their child needs, parents should consider family planing so that they can provide all the basic needs of their child such as enough food and a comfortable environment.

What I have learned

Image
In this quarter, I learned about the timelines when the internet was born, the different types of network and also about the internet services tools where you can find the important services on the internet.  I learned about the internet access where there is a Local Area Network and wireless broadband access which is a type of internet worldwide. I also read and familiarized the founders and co-founders of the Internet that we are using right now.  I learned about making a blog and I’m enjoying making articles and sharing my thoughts about our country.  There is a problem that I encountered while I’m reading and doing my module like I find it hard to memorize and familiarize the dates and the names of the founders. I address these problems by taking down notes and highlighting the important ideas.  Moving on, I will teach and share my knowledge about this to my cousins and friends because I know that they will enjoy this topic as much as I do.

Education in a Pandemic

Image
Since the beginning of 2020, we have been facing a crisis of enormous proportions. Many of young people are staying at home like the other members of their families, and the educational institutions have remained closed, online education appears to be the only alternative to ensure that the education of these students will continue.     Most of the young people in our country have been just staying at home for months without any form of formal education. The children at home are left jostling for that only device in the family.

Know me better

Image
Greetings, I’am Azalea Fay Guira, 15 years old and a grade 10 student of Ilocos Sur National High School. I only have few friends at school because I’am introvert. I want to become a doctor someday but unfortunately, I’m afraid of blood so my second choice is to become a Cruise Ship Attendant.       My hobbies are playing board games, singing, playing badminton, and volleyball. I love dogs as a pet and I also want to have a tiger but it’s too risky and impossible.

The Kindness Cure

Image
A very big problem is being experienced not only in the Philippines but almost all the country in the world in the year 2020 till now. The Philippines became strict towards everyone’s health because the problem that we are facing is called the Corona Virus or the COVID-19. Everyone of us needs to wear a face shield and a face mask for us to prevent the virus. But wearing face mask and following the protocols is not enough to prevent the virus so the Government decided to implement the Enhance Community Quarantine (ECQ) on March 2020.  The Philippines became resilient against COVID-19 because we learn how to be strong, independent and how to help other people especially in need.
